Dual-Frequency Generators

eldec is well-known for its SDF® technology - patented dual-frequency generators capable of being operated separately or simultaneously with high or medium frequency. SDF® generators are often too expensive, despite being ideal for users seeking a generator with a switchable frequency, but do not want a simultaneous frequency.

Eldec supplies dual-frequency (DF) generators for these applications: switchable dual-frequency generators with the product and service quality customers expect from eldec.

Operating Modes:

  • Largest frequency and power range and largest adjustment range on the market
  • Precise energy dosing (+/- 2%) => high process capability (reproducibility)
  • Control types: temperature, electricity, output
  • Optional heating with high and medium frequency
  • Automatic adjustment to resonance frequency and thus inductor impedance
  • Robust IGBT transistor technology => short-circuit and open-circuit proof
  • permanent, jog, timer
  • Efficiency > 90%
  • Profibus
  • High frequency-shallower case depth; medium frequency-higher case depth
