Reliable Myometer Muscle Strength Tester

The Mecmesin Myometer is the ideal instrument for measuring the physiological strength of a patient. It is an invaluable healthcare tool for the assessment of injury and disease progression and treatment success.

Furthermore, as a tool for sports training, it can objectively evaluate muscle development. It comes with accessories designed for fixed-point testing, a method recognized for yielding more reliable results compared to hand-held devices.

The instrument can be securely attached to a desk, with the patient's limb placed in an adjustable strap, ensuring consistent and accurate measurements. As the patient pulls against this restraint, the Myometer accurately records and displays the resistive force.

The Myometer can automatically apply the standard Constant Score calculation method for evaluating the muscle strength aspect of shoulder joint functional assessment. Results are displayed immediately upon completion of the test.

As soon as the test begins, the Myometer records the applied load at 2 and 3 seconds, the maximum value, and the mean load between 1 and 4 seconds.

Included Accessories

  • Myometer
  • Mounting bracket clamp
  • Wrist/ankle cuff and strap
  • Transit case
  • Calibration certificate
  • Operating manual
  • VectorPro™ Lite data acquisition software and cables

VectorPro™ Lite enables a PC to communicate with the Mecmesin Myometer utilizing a bi-directional RS232 interface. VectorPro Lite captures live tension and compression test values. These values are used to plot a live graph of force vs. time, helping users to visually identify any events during the test that cannot be picked up through readings on the instrument display.

With a graphical record of the test, operators can quickly and simply do an in-depth examination of measurements.
