The manual laboratory press can be optimally used as an XRF press, KBr press, and FTIR press. Although all manual presses come in 15- and 25-ton load configurations, they can also be configured as 0-5, 0-2, and 0-1 tons.

Clear Pressure Gauge

The dual scale gauge can be read easily and is calibrated in metric tons as well as UK imperial tons. It includes an adjustable pressure control valve that enables reproducible load for repetitive applications. As a standard, the hand-pumped laboratory press comes with a protective safety shield and rugged steel construction. More specifically, it can be used as a thin-film press, XRF pellet press, and FTIR pellet press when used in tandem with Specac’s Heated Platens, Evacuable Pellet Die assemblies, and related Thin-Film making kits.
