The X100-FT from Testometric is an exclusive fiber testing model that is based on the X100-1 Universal Testing Machine. The instrument features completely pneumatically operated grips for testing natural or synthetic single fibers in compliance with BS EN ISO 5079 or BS 3411.

The machine features a universal design, complete with precision AC servo drive system and full computer control, thus enabling easy compatibility for other test types such as tensile and compression tests using Testometric’s wide range of grips and fixtures.

Optional Tablet PC

When X100-FT is paired with the optional TPC1 tablet PC it turns into a robust independent system without the necessity of a laptop or external PC. The TPC1 tablet PC has touchscreen control and works based on a dedicated version of WinTest software that is enhanced for touchscreen operation.

The Tablet PC offers a fully-featured test environment with the capability to create and store limitless methods and results. Users can adjust to an ergonomic working position since the height, reach and viewing angle of the mounting arm attached to the machine column T-slots can be tuned. The machine can also be connected to a laptop or conventional desktop PC using the WinTest EC software.

Tried and Tested Software

Each Testometric model is supplied with an inclusive WinTest Analysis software package. The WinTest Analysis includes many years of development, providing an easy and in-built software package that suits material testing of all types. The in-built test methods offer tensile, flexural, compression, peel, shear, tear, cyclic, creep, and multi-stage tests.

A broad range of facilities and industry-standard test methods are provided to build and store many test methods. All test data can be automatically stored and exported to other software packages such as word, excel, access and SPC systems for further interpretation.

The WinTest software datasheet can be used to get better insights into the features. The inclusion of the RCE remote connection facility in all machines can be web-linked directly to Testometric for monitoring, remote investigation and software upgrades.
