Toxic Vapor Analyzer: TVA2020

The Thermo Scientific™ TVA2020 Toxic Vapor Analyzer is a portable, lightweight and intrinsically safe portable gas leak detector that allows rapid detection of fugitive emissions of inorganic and organic compounds for site remediation, LDAR applications and Method 21 compliance.

User can configure the Thermo Scientific™ TVA2020 Toxic Vapor Analyzer as an FID analyzer (flame ionization detector), or as a PID analyzer (photo ionization detector) and dual-detection FID analyzer. The main features include Bluetooth™ connectivity, increased user-serviceability and decreased response times.

Product Overview

Easy-to-Own and Operate

When compared to the previous models, the TVA2020 Toxic Vapor Analyzer is 21% lighter. It is also more compact than the majority of the standalone FID analyzers.

The compact and lightweight design of the TVA2020 analyzer decreases fatigue for real portability and is also easier to service in the field. An array of options is available with the analyzer, such as a carrying case, basic or improved probe and hydrogen refill assembly.

Bluetooth communication (optional) sends concentration data to a portable device comprising the LDAR software database, thus avoiding the necessity to send files post-monitoring and offering more access to route data.

The Technology Expected by Users

Gas leaks from chemical plants and refineries can be detected to conform to LDAR programs and U.S. EPA Method 21 standards. Equipped with the FID technology, the TVA2020 Toxic Vapor Analyzer quantifies organic compounds with excellent sensitivity. The FID technology enables a wide linear and dynamic range that creates repeatable and stable responses.

The TVA2020 analyzer can be configured with both PID and FID technologies for concurrent detection and improved analytical capabilities. This exclusive dual configuration can allow a more rapid reading of inorganic and organic compounds when compared to a solo detector technology and offers a more in-depth gas coverage than similar sized FID and PID analyzers.

After conducting a primary calibration (calibration kit is provided), the TVA2020 Analyzer can be tailored by uploading a monitoring route, activating internal logging parameters, activating response factors, setting alarm levels and establishing a Bluetooth connection.
