Real‑Time Dust Monitoring with Area Dust Monitor ADR1500

Users can easily carry and install the Thermo Scientific™ ADR1500 Area Dust Monitor for continuous monitoring.

Product Overview

The Thermo Scientific Model ADR1500 Dust Monitor uses the same very sensitive light-scattering photometer (nephelometer) technology as the pDR series. The intensity of light dispersed by airborne particles moving through the detecting chamber is related to their concentration. This optical setup responds well to particles, giving continuous measurements of airborne particle concentrations for total particulate and cut-points ranging from PM10 to PM1.

The ADR1500 has a temperature and relative humidity (RH) sensor, as well as an internal heater, to reduce the positive bias caused by high ambient RH. Furthermore, the flow control is volumetric, with digital feedback from the onboard barometric pressure sensor, temperature sensor, and calibrated differential pressure across a precise orifice. The ADR1500 incorporates the principles of real volumetric flow, which results in an exact sample volume and precise particle cut-point.

Key Features

  • Long-lasting primary HEPA filter and modular optics for convenience of maintenance
  • Durable, weatherproof IP65 enclosure
