QExtraTechnology, available from HORIBA Scientific, is an advanced, anti-reflective multi-layer coating that offers excellent quantum efficiency for experiments requiring coverage from UV to NIR, while limiting etaloning effects visible at longer wavelengths in back-illuminated deep depleted cameras. QextraTechnology has been specifically developed to enhance quantum efficiency across a wide range of spectra and limit unwanted etaloning effects.
In addition, the QExtraTechnology offers high sensitivity that makes HORIBA’s BIDDs as suitable scientific cameras for fluorescence, luminescence and Raman spectroscopy measurements. The latest QExtraTechnology now comes with HORIBA’s thermoelectrically cooled Synapse CCD cameras and low-noise, liquid-nitrogen-cooled Symphony II CCD cameras.
