UniGap 1100ES™: Silicone Thermal Interface Pads

The UniGap 1100ES is characterized by its softness and ceramic filling. This composition makes it suitable for thermally coupling various components that dissipate heat.

It can handle a broad spectrum of stack-up tolerances. Importantly, it exerts minimal pressure forces on the component parts it interfaces with.

For applications requiring additional electrical isolation and improved resistance to cut-through, the UniGap 1100ES can be provided with a liner. This liner can be either fabric or film, applied to one side of the material.

Benefits

Flexible and moldable, it accommodates components of varying heights and dimensions using a single pad.

It includes a release liner on both faces, plus a fabric or film on one side for simpler manipulation.

Performance remains consistent across a broad temperature spectrum.

Features

  • Offers good electrical isolation
  • Highly soft and compliant silicone gap filler
  • Exerts very low pressures on devices and components when in operation
  • Thermal conductivity = 1.1 W/mK

Recommended Uses

  • Cooling power devices in AC-DC and DC-DC PSUs
  • Generally used in any gap filler application where multiple component height and size differences exist
  • Cooling digital signal processing (DSP) units
  • Memory cards and VGA modules
