ASD Small Diameter Reflectance Probe

The Small Diameter Reflectance Probe, with an approximate spot size of just 2 mm, has been engineered to gather spectra from individual small materials such as individual vugs or grains in a rock core or hand sample. It is ideal for establishing specific mineralogy of individual grains.

If using a spectrometer such as a LabSpec lab analyzer or a TerraSpec mineral analyzer without an integrated light source, the Fiber Optic Illuminator is needed. The Fiber Optic Illuminator provides the essential light source for sample collection.
