ABI Q-Star Elite high-performance, quadrupole Time-of-Flight (TOF) mass spectrometer
complete with NanoSpray II source, MALDI source and Eksigent LC. Mass Range:

- Using rapid LC gradients on simple protein digest samples, high sequence
coverage of over 50% can be obtained reproducibly on the QSTAR® Elite
System.
- A >4 fold improvement in identification results is observed on the QSTAR®
Elite System using ProteinPilotTM Software over the QSTAR® XL System using
Mascot.
- MS/MS acquisition rates still give excellent protein sequence coverage
with high data quality.
