Metrohm's modular chemical analysis platform, OMNIS, continues to grow in strength: With the introduction of the OMNIS Coulometer, OMNIS users now have access to the full range of titration techniques, including coulometry for water determination in the trace level range, volumetric Karl Fischer titration, potentiometric, photometric, and thermometric titration, and pH measurement.
Coulometry is the ideal method for determining trace-level moisture content (10 µg to 10 mg absolute) in liquid, solid, and gaseous media. Easy to use, measurements can be received in less than three minutes. Additionally, because coulometry is an absolute approach, no titer determination is necessary.

The OMNIS Coulometer provides maximum flexibility: if the sample volume increases, users can add another OMNIS Coulometer Module, for example, to determine moisture content and bromine index simultaneously or to perform studies with alternative reagents.
Adding an OMNIS Dosing Module to the OMNIS Coulometer eliminates the risk of exposure to the KF reagent, enabling fully automated replacement of depleted reagent.
Metrohm introduces the OMNIS Sample Robot Oven for gas extraction, which complements the OMNIS Coulometer. Gas extraction allows for moisture detection in matrices that cannot be directly evaluated in the titration cell, such as solids.
The OMNIS Sample Robot Oven can be configured with one or two Oven Modules for optimal versatility and performance. A maximum of 100 samples in standard 6 mL vials can be examined for moisture content unattended.
