Avoid Unforeseen Plant Shutdowns with a Reliable Industrial Process Controller

Regular control of process parameters is essential to maintain product and process specifications and ensure optimal quality and consistency across industries. By delivering data in real time to the industrial control system (e.g., DCS or PLC), downtime is minimized, and valuable company assets are protected.

The 2060 Human Interface, developed by Metrohm Process Analytics, is designed to support this objective. Thanks to a wide range of built-in process communication protocols (such as Modbus and Discrete I/O), the 2060 HI enables real-time transmission of process data to any industrial control system or directly to external devices, ensuring continuous accessibility 24/7.

Options and Upgrades

Sample Preconditioning

Metrohm Process Analytics can engineer and supply virtually any unit operation for sample preconditioning, delivering complete and tailored solutions for most industrial processes.

Beyond the chemical analysis itself, factors such as sample preparation, preconditioning, and the location of the analyzer are critical to the success of online and atline measurements.

Metrohm offers comprehensive solutions for almost any application, ranging from analyzers combined with customized sample preparation to full turnkey packages including shelters, piping, wiring, and system interfacing. This integrated approach ensures seamless startup and smooth on-site integration of the analyzer.

Software Options

The PTRam operates with Vision software, providing a familiar user experience with full spectroscopic data acquisition and analysis, as used with Metrohm NIR spectroscopy process analyzers.

Vision is a comprehensive software solution that includes:

  • Spectral data acquisition
  • Real-time routine analysis for multi-component process monitoring
  • Qualitative and quantitative model development
  • 21 CFR Part 11–compliant version available
  • Interface to control systems (communication protocols available as an option)
  • System testing in accordance with USP and EP requirements

When more advanced control of sampling components, such as valves, pumps, or sensors, is required, Vision is used in combination with IMPACT software.
